The Canine Academy in Durban’s Glynne Anderson is a qualifies teacher, and her classes are structured and efficiently managed with no standing around or getting bored.

Classes are fun, light hearted and designed to entertain, educate and socialise both people and dogs!

• Pupils have the benefits of a number of well qualified trainers to assist with extra help or new pupils.
• Her most remarkable helper is ‘Nanny McPhee’ AKA Holly her 9 year old, highly trained German Shepherd who is her right hand paw and indispensible during puppy school. This amazing dog ’sorts’ the naughty puppies in no time and has them in line and behaving beautifully without a word from Glynne.
• Occasionally Cruise, Glynne’s 5 year old handsome male GSD will also lend a paw although he uses tougher methods than Holly but is none the less just as effective in instilling manners and discipline in wannabe delinquents.
• Classes are not run as courses but as an on going education for handlers and their dogs - payment is required for two month periods. There is no waiting for new courses to begin as you will be slotted in immediately.
• The Canine Academy is unique in that a segment of all classes is dedicated to off leash socialisation.
