I have a lab x border collie also three years old, who fetches the paper every morning when it comes flying over the gate. Sometimes she brings it to her kennel which is right outside my bedroom, but often she leaves it somewhere on the way. As soon as the first one in the house gets up, they tell her to Fetch the paper and she takes great joy in doing so, but it no-one asks for it she rips it.
