My heart broke for the Sam the World’s Ugliest Dog. There, on his 15th birthday, was this poor deformed creature, furless, sightless and almost toothless, scratching his lumpy body with a bony wrinkled back leg… ag shame! Then I got to thinking. Did the dear old boy have any idea he was so grotesque …and if so did, he actually care? No! Those thoughts had probably never even crossed his radar screen.  I’m also quite sure he never looked in a mirror and went “EEEK!” because dogs are happy with their lots and they really don’t care about looks.  I mean, did you ever see a dog pleased to go to the beauty parlour? So your dog loves going? Maybe, but not for the bath or extreme makeover but probably only for the treats he gets as bribes! Continue Reading
